A Minecraft DLC that is based on Lightyear by Pixar offers new content, including Buzz's birth story. MINECRAFT SERVERS The most recent Minecraft blog post described the Lightyear DLC as a "blocky intergalactic adventure," which will include five missions. The missions let players fight off enemies with various tools, face hostile environments, and fly various aircrafts to avoid obstacles.
"In the Lightyear DLC, players can play through Buzz's story and assist him in navigating an extraterrestrial planet after an unfortunate crash landing," says a portion of the post. You can complete five missions with this Academy-trained hero. These include the threatening swamp and jungle as well as a mine and various alien settlements.
The Lightyear DLC will also include the free Lightyear-themed Character Creator item. It is currently unavailable on Nintendo Switch, but the blog post stated that it will be available on the console "soon." Those who own the other versions of Minecraft can download it for free as DLC on the storefronts for their respective consoles.
